NBA NJ Nets Chinese Player Yi, Jianlian’s Basketball Clinic on April 8th, 2010


On April 8th, Yi Jianlian, the famous Chinese player of NBA NJ Nets came to P.S. 124, The Yung Wing School in NY Chinatown and interacted with the students in the Chinese community. He gave basketball instruction to motivate students by explaining the game rules and demonstrating the skills. “This event aims to promote better health and improved fitness through this opportunity for students especially from low income family who have limited space to exercise and practice basketball.” said by Li Li, president of the Sino-American Culture & Arts Foundation, the host organization of the event.
